Oakley Shades

I have some Oakley Rocco pants in purple and blue. Im having some problems finding a jacket that doesn’t look stupid. Any suggestions? (preferably that shade of purple and that shade of blue). I need good snowboard sty!

well me and my exbf have been broken up for 2 months all him..

A member of my family has sponsorships and he gets clothing and a bunch of other stuff from them.

CHAPEL HILL — UNC-CH police released pepper spray and threatened to use a Taser on student protesters Tuesday evening when a crowd disrupted a speech by former Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo opposing in-state tuition benefits to unauthorized immigrants.

Hundreds of protesters converged on Bingham Hall, shouting profanities and accusations of racism while Tancredo and the student who introduced him tried to speak. Minutes into the speech, a protester pounded a window of the classroom until the glass shattered, prompting Tancredo to flee and campus police to shut down the event.

Tancredo was brought to campus by a UNC chapter of Youth for Western Civilization, a national organization of students who oppose mass immigration, multiculturalism and affirmative action.two women who delayed Tancredo’s speech by stretching a 12-foot banner across the front of the classroom. It read, "No dialogue with hate."

Police escorted the women into the hallway, amid more than 30 protesters who clashed with the officers trying to keep them out of the overcrowded classroom. After police released pepper spray and threatened the crowd with a Taser, the protesters gathered outside Bingham Hall.

Police spokesman Randy Young said the pepper spray was "broadcast" to clear the hallway. He said officers’ use of force was under investigation by the department.

Inside the classroom, several student protesters screamed curses at Tancredo and Riley Matheson, president of the UNC-Chapel Hill chapter of Youth for Western Civilization.

"This is the free speech crowd, right?" Tancredo joked.

UNC-CH geography professor Alpha Cravey joined protesters in chanting the names of Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus.

But campus visitors and some faculty members in the capacity crowd of 150 urged the students to let Tancredo speak.

"We are the children of immigrants, and this concerns us," said junior Lizette Lopez, 22, vice president of the Carolina Hispanic Association. "So we would at least like to hear what he has to say if you want to hear what we have to say."

The protesters relented, and Tancredo began to speak, describing failed state and federal legislation aimed at providing in-state tuition benefits for undocumented immigrants.

Two women stretched out another banner, first along one of the aisles and then right in front of Tancredo. Tancredo grabbed the middle of the banner and tried to pull it away from one of the girls. "You don’t want to hear what I have to say because you don’t agree with me," he said.

The sound of breaking glass from behind a window shade interrupted the tug-of-war.

Tancredo was escorted from the room by campus police.

About 200 protesters reconvened outside the building. "We shut him down; no racists in our town," they shouted. "Yes, racists, we will fight, we know where you sleep at night!"

Reached by phone after his departure, Tancredo said he had never been silenced by protesters, even at American University where 400 of them recently attended one of his speeches.

"We’re very sorry that former Congressman Tancredo wasn’t able to speak," Chancellor Holden Thorp said in a prepared statement. "We pride ourselves on being a place where all points of view can be expressed and heard, so I’m disappointed that didn’t happen tonight. I think our Public Safety officers appropriately handled a difficult situation."

Police spokesman Randy Young said he couldn’t recall student protesters shutting down another campus event.

"Fascists are fascists," Tancredo said. "Their actions were probably the best speech I could ever give. They are what’s wrong with America today. … When all you can do is yell epithets, that means you are intellectually bankrupt."

UNC graduate student Tyler Oakley, who had organized the protest, said he regretted the broken window but not silencing Tancredo. "He was not able to practice his hate speech," said Oakley. "You have to respect the right of people to assemble and collectively speak."

Lopez said she had mixed emotions about how the event ended.

"We were more interested in an intellectual conversation instead of a shouting match," she said. "Ironically, the people that are trying to get our voices heard silenced us."

Matheson, who formed UNC-YWC this year with seven other conservative students, said he knew Tancredo would be controversial but he never expected this kind of response.

"I didn’t expect them to literally chase him out of the building," he said.

anyone know what song this could be? this is not exactly how it was, because i couldnt find it by googling the lyrics. i’m not exactly sure that was the brands even… i’m pretty sure it was gucci and oakley at least.
dont think the word was on btw, it may have been put your oakley’s up or something like that, if that makes anymoresense to you. all i really remember was that it mentioned brand shades in the opening, and i think it was the three brands i mentioned over.

Being a girl, I wonder about my choice in sunglasses (purely style speaking, since I chose these two styles for superior optics, comfort, durability, and of course uv protection).

Last Summer while on deployment and in port in Florida I picked up a pair of Maui Jim… the style is called ‘Kapalua’. I tried on a bunch of shades and these ones stood out as looking decent on me, which is hard to find because I have a small head. But when I search online for pics, it always shows men wearing them! Did I buy GUY shades?? Is this acceptable (in the fashion world)??

I wear the Maui Jim mostly when sports are not involved, since they are kind of light and delicate… so the other day I was in Sunglass Hut and fell in love with the feel and look of the Oakley Flak Jacket polarized in the brown/gold color. I will wear these when I am doing more ’sporty’ things outdoors. The optics in these are simply amazing!! Really!

Am I doing a fashion faux pas by not wearing the huge ladies styles I see on tv and in ads that cover half their faces?? I just can’t seem to pull them off with a small face! Those 2 styles above are listed as small to medium size! I know the description for both the Maui Jim and Oakley’s I chose say unisex, but the ‘IN’ thing seems to be uber huge oversized shades on women these days!!

so i really love the oakley m frames cuz i play baseball and alot of other players have them. i have the money for them, but my mom just goes crazy over the idea of 0 shades. im pretty good actually. next year is high school ball, and i have a good chance of making it, so the shades will still b useful for me. my mom also thinks they will fly off when im running in the field, and that they will be a waste. how do i show and convince her that i wont break them?

After spending a day at the beach, me and my buddy went to shower in the public bathrooms. After we came out of the showers to get dressed, three other guys went into the showers while they left their belongings outside. Before we left the bathroom we saw 3 sunglasses on the bench next to the 3 guy’s belongings. I never had sunglasses and my buddy lost his a few days ago. So we just took the 3 shades and left quickly. We loved the shades, they were great and really fitted us. But we later discovered that these 3 sunglasses are really really really EXPENSIVE!!! They were all oakley branded. we sold away 1 for 0. But after that I kinda felt really gulity, and by chance I found out where 1 of that guy whom I had stolen the shades from lived a few streets away from me. I really don’t know, I mean like its hard to get such a cool and expensive shade!

Apart from knowing some of the better brand names, I’m almost clueless when it comes to sunglasses so I’ll take any suggestions I can get.

My best friend’s 16th birthday was coming and I thought of getting him a really nice bag , then we went to a mall a few days ago and he told me he would really like to have a pair of prescription oakley gascan sunglasses jokingly. I knew he had always wanted to wear shades out but he was wearing spectacles with a really high degree , and he told me that he would feel weird when we like went to the beach coz hes the only guy wearing glasses and we were all decked out in cool sunglasses.
